1. Topological Operators have been added but there is no guarantee that the algorithms are optimum. You can go ahead and use these operators. They produce correct results but are not optimised for best performance.

2. Support for loading and saving PNG images has been added. For this the library pngwriter is used. For information on the pngwriter library, go here. The pngwriter source files are distributed as part of the library. Hence you need not install this library separately.

3. Methods to extract histograms of images of the iptk::Image class have been added. The histograms are extracted as PNG images. These methods, again, make use of the pngwriter library.

4. There has been a minor re-organisation in the class hierarchy.

5. Small bug in the rainfalling watershed algorithm has been fixed
